Your privacy matters. If you share personal information through a contact form, email, or phone, that information is used solely to connect with you about therapy services.
I do not sell or share your information with third parties.

No Therapist–Client Relationship
Visiting this site, downloading resources, or reading the Journal (blog) does not establish a therapist–client relationship. That relationship begins only after we’ve agreed to work together, completed the necessary paperwork, and scheduled your first session.
Confidentiality & HIPAA
All therapy services provided by Ruth Fong, LMFT, are protected by HIPAA confidentiality standards. However, communication through this website, email, or text cannot be guaranteed as confidential. Please use discretion when sharing personal details in these spaces.
Telehealth Consent
Tending Her offers online therapy sessions to residents of California. While telehealth allows us to meet from the comfort of your home, please be aware that there are limitations, including potential technology interruptions and the importance of choosing a private location for your sessions. Full consent paperwork will be provided before beginning therapy.
Cancellation & Payment Policy
Individual therapy sessions are $225 for 50 minutes.
Payment is due at the time of service.
Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid being charged the full session fee.
Superbills are available for potential out-of-network reimbursement through your insurance.
